About Me
Supporting healing, connection, and emotional resilience across diverse communities
I specialize in supporting youth, adults, and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and emotional struggles. Whether you’re healing from past trauma, attachment wounds, or the ongoing impact of systemic and cultural stressors, I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where your story is honored and your healing journey respected.
My two decades as an educator in Nunavut have given me a profound awareness of the colonial and systemic influences shaping the lives of Indigenous and marginalized peoples. This experience deeply informs my commitment to culturally sensitive care and holding space for those who often carry unseen burdens.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and a Master of Education, and I am trained in EMDR therapy. My work integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Polyvagal Theory. Each session is tailored to your unique needs, and together we set goals that honor your pace and priorities.
I am passionate about supporting healing from anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and narcissistic abuse. Whether you are an individual or a couple, I walk alongside you with empathy and practical strategies that foster emotional clarity, connection, and self-trust.
“Healing begins when we feel seen, heard, and safe. I’m here to walk alongside you as you reclaim your story, rebuild trust in yourself and others, and find clarity amidst life’s challenges.”
