Victoria Hamilton
BScN, RN Psychotherapist, IBCLC, PMH-C
As an Registered Nurse Psychotherapist, I support adults through anxiety, trauma, parenting stress, and life transitions. I work with a deep respect for the nervous system, attachment, and each client’s inner wisdom — using approaches like Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, and Compassionate Inquiry.
I believe we all have the capacity to heal. Our lived experiences shape how safe we feel, how we relate to others, and how we connect with ourselves — but healing begins when we start listening inward.
Curious about working together? I offer a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.

- Anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm
- Depression and low mood
- Emotional regulation and coping with intense feelings
- Life transitions and identity exploration
- Grief, loss, and unresolved emotional pain
- Burnout and chronic stress
- Relationship and interpersonal difficulties
- Self-esteem, self-worth, and inner critic work
- Addictions and substance use concerns (supporting change and recovery)
- Supporting LGBTQ2S+ individuals in affirming, inclusive, and respectful care
- Providing culturally responsive and trauma-informed care for Indigenous clients, with attention to intergenerational trauma and systemic impacts
- Exploring long-standing patterns that feel stuck, repetitive, or hard to change

Individual Adults
I offer a collaborative, compassionate approach to help adults heal trauma, regulate emotions, and create meaningful change.
About Me
Hi, I’m Tori — a therapist, clinic owner, and mother of four. I offer therapy that’s compassionate, deeply attuned, and rooted in real-life experience.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a Registered Nurse supporting individuals across the lifespan — from birth to end of life. That experience shaped the foundation of my clinical work: a commitment to presence, deep listening, and the ability to stay grounded in complexity, distress, and uncertainty. It also shaped how I understand systems of care, clinical responsibility, and the importance of holding both structure and humanity in therapeutic work.
In my current practice, I integrate trauma-informed, relational, and depth-oriented approaches, drawing on Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, Compassionate Inquiry, and polyvagal-informed care. My clinical focus includes anxiety, ADHD, trauma, parenting and attachment dynamics, relationship challenges, and the internal patterns that sit beneath symptoms.
Within IFS work specifically, I am particularly drawn to the intersection of parts work with spirituality, intergenerational healing, legacy burdens, addictions, trauma, and neurodiversity. I am interested in how clinicians can work not only with client symptoms, but with the broader systems of meaning, protection, and adaptation that shape internal experience over time.
Alongside my clinical practice, I am a clinic owner and nursing leader, and I have developed a strong interest in the operational and relational aspects of private practice — including sustainable caseload management, ethical decision-making, clinical boundaries, and creating systems that support both client care and clinician well-being. I also bring a background in clinical writing, which continues to inform how I communicate clinical concepts in accessible, grounded ways.
I am a trained Reiki Master, and while this is not part of my clinical modality, it has contributed to my understanding of presence, attunement, and nervous system regulation in therapeutic work.
I am actively involved in the Internal Family Systems (IFS) Canada community and will be serving as a Program Assistant for an IFS Level 1 training in 2026. I value ongoing professional development and consider myself part of a learning community committed to depth, integrity, and clinical excellence in this work.
In addition to psychotherapy, I offer mentorship and business/clinical coaching for health professionals and therapists who are building or expanding their practice. My approach is collaborative and grounded in both lived clinical experience and real-world private practice development. I support clinicians in areas such as trauma-informed practice, integrating parts work, building sustainable caseloads, navigating private practice systems, and developing confidence in their clinical voice.
At the core of my work — whether with clients or clinicians — is a belief that meaningful change happens in spaces where there is enough safety to slow down, get curious, and listen deeply to what is happening beneath the surface. I aim to bring that same quality of presence into supervision and consultation: thoughtful, relational, and grounded in both clinical integrity and human complexity.
“My approach is grounded, intuitive, and deeply relational. I hold space with curiosity and care, helping clients reconnect with themselves in a way that feels safe, honest, and empowering.”

Training:
-
Brainspotting Phase 1 – Cynthia Schwartzberg (2023)
Compassionate Inquiry
Developed by Dr. Gabor Maté, this approach gently uncovers the unconscious beliefs and emotional patterns that shape how we live, relate, and suffer. It emphasizes presence, compassion, and connection.
Training:
-

Trauma & Nervous System Regulation
Understanding how trauma lives in the body is essential to healing. I integrate nervous system-informed approaches to help you feel safe, grounded, and empowered.
