About Me
Nicole Walker, Registered Psychotherapist, works with individual teens, young adults, and adults as well as
families who are ready to look beneath the surface with curiosity and intention — exploring the
patterns, beliefs, and experiences that shape their lives and stepping into meaningful, lasting
growth. At the heart of her work are three things: authenticity, compassion, and curiosity. Nicole
believes that lasting change happens from the inside out — and she partners with clients to
build both the self-awareness and the practical tools to live with more confidence, clarity, and
compassion. She welcomes people from all cultural, spiritual, and gender backgrounds and is
committed to creating a space where every client feels genuinely seen, heard, and never alone
in what they are carrying.
Nicole holds a Master of Arts in Theology – Spiritual Care & Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier
University, a multi-faith and inclusive program emphasizing emotional, relational, and spiritual
well-being. Her work is emotion-focused and client-centred, rooted in evidence-based
approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
(DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and attachment theory. She also integrates Internal
Family Systems (parts work) and Narrative Therapy tools to help clients explore their inner
world, heal limiting core beliefs, and grow into a deeper understanding of who they are.
Clients often seek Nicole’s support for:
● Anxiety, self-worth, and stress management
● Identity, values, and finding a sense of direction
● Grief, loss, and spiritual distress
● Family tension and relational challenges
● School, social, or developmental struggles for teens and young adults
● Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or in need of clarity
Nicole’s approach is collaborative, relational, and tailored to each person’s needs. She brings
curiosity and empathy to every session — whether helping a teen navigate self-doubt,
supporting an adult through a major life transition, or helping someone understand how their
past is shaping their present. Nicole believes in each person’s inherent capacity for healing, and
is dedicated to walking alongside clients with warmth, honesty, and care every step of the way
