Therapy for Nurses & Healthcare Professionals in Ontario
Support from someone who understands the weight of caring for others.
As a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist, I understand the unique emotional demands of healthcare work — the responsibility, compassion fatigue, difficult experiences, workplace stress, and the pressure to keep showing up even when you are exhausted.
Therapy can provide a space where you don’t have to be the caregiver. A space to process what you have carried, reconnect with yourself, and build a healthier relationship with your work, relationships, and wellbeing.
Virtual psychotherapy available throughout Ontario.

You Spend Your Career Caring For Others. Who Cares For You?
Nurses, therapists and other healthcare professionals are often the ones others turn to during their hardest moments. Over time, carrying the suffering, responsibility, and emotional needs of others can take a toll.

- Feeling disconnected from yourself outside of your role
- Experiencing anxiety, perfectionism, guilt, or the pressure to always do more
- Wondering if you can continue working this way long-term
You don’t have to wait until you are completely depleted before seeking support.

Therapy From Someone Who Understands Healthcare Culture

As a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist, I bring both clinical psychotherapy training and lived experience within healthcare into sessions with nurses and allied health professionals throughout Ontario.
I deeply understand:
✓ The culture of “pushing through” and the weight of expectation
✓ The pressure to be competent and dependable even when feeling uncertain and scared
✓ The emotional impact of caring for people in crisis and discomfort
✓ The challenges of advocating for yourself in healthcare environments, always expected to do more with less
✓ The difficulty of admitting you need support when others rely on you to be strong
Therapy does not mean you are failing as a healthcare professional. It means you are giving yourself a chance to be cared for so you don’t become burnout and overwhelmed.
Virtual Therapy for Nurses and Allied Health Professionals Across Ontario
Nurses and healthcare professionals dedicate their lives to showing up for others. Finding time to prioritize your own mental health can feel challenging when you are balancing demanding schedules, shift work, family responsibilities, and the emotional weight that comes with your profession.
Virtual psychotherapy provides a flexible and accessible way to receive support from the comfort and privacy of your own space — whether you are decompressing after a difficult shift, navigating workplace stress, or processing experiences that have stayed with you long after the workday ends.
As a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist, I understand the realities of healthcare culture and the unique challenges faced by nurses and allied health professionals. Virtual therapy allows you to access specialized support throughout Ontario without adding the stress of commuting or rearranging an already demanding schedule.
Online therapy may be a good fit if you are:
- A nurse, healthcare provider, or allied health professional looking for support from someone who understands the healthcare environment
- Experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, workplace stress, or emotional exhaustion
- Processing difficult experiences, trauma, grief, or moral distress related to your work
- Struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, boundaries, or the pressure to always be the one who holds everything together
- Looking for therapy that fits around your shifts, responsibilities, and life outside of healthcare
