She welcomes people from all cultural, spiritual, and gender backgrounds and is committed to creating a space where every client feels genuinely seen, heard, and never alone in what they are carrying.
Nicole holds a Master of Arts in Theology – Spiritual Care & Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier University, a multi-faith and inclusive program emphasizing emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being. Her work is emotion-focused and client-centred, rooted in evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and attachment theory. Cynthia Kipp, MEd. Counselling Psych., Registered Social Services Worker
Adults | Virtual & In-person
With over 20 years of experience as a mental health counsellor, Cynthia has many efficient and effective approaches to help clients meet their goals and make the changes they want.
Somatic approaches like Hakomi, Coherence Therapy and Emotional Freedom Technique, behavioural approaches like CBT, attachment-based approaches like Compassionate Inquiry, imagery-based approaches like hypnosis, and trauma processing methods like ITATM are all available to fit a range of client needs and interests.
Cynthia believes that change can start from the inside out, or the outside in. By making internal changes to your beliefs, thoughts and emotions, your behaviours can start to change. By changing your external behaviours, you can experience new, more functional beliefs and feelings. Start where you're at, and go from there.

Therapy Trainings
Our team of mental health professionals are trained in various therapy modalities to help clients heal and grow. Click the icons below to learn more about the approaches that our therapist team is trained in.
EMDR Therapy
A trauma-focused therapy that helps clients process and integrate traumatic memories to reduce distress and promote emotional regulation.
Brainspotting
Brainspotting is a brain-body therapy that uses the visual field to access and process stored trauma. It’s especially effective for emotional regulation, trauma recovery, and performance blocks.
CBT for Trauma
CBT supports clients in identifying and shifting unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, trauma responses, and mood difficulties. It empowers individuals to develop healthier coping strategies.
Internal Family Systems
IFS is a gentle, respectful approach that helps you explore the different “parts” of yourself — like the inner critic, the overwhelmed part, or the part that wants to shut down. It’s especially helpful for healing trauma, improving self-understanding, and reconnecting with your authentic self.
Compassionate Inquiry
Developed by Dr. Gabor Maté, this approach gently uncovers the unconscious beliefs and emotional patterns that shape how we live, relate, and suffer. It emphasizes presence, compassion, and connection.
